How to Remove, Add or Disable Chrome Extensions
Google Chrome allows you to enhance your browsing experience with extensions that customize your browser. You can easily add, disable, and remove these extensions:
Adding an Extension:
Open Chrome and visit
chrome.google.com/webstore.
Click "Extensions" in the
left sidebar.
Use the search bar to find your
desired extension.
Click "Add to Chrome" and
confirm in the pop-up.
Disabling an Extension:
Click the three-dot menu in the
top-right corner.
Go to "More Tools" >
"Extensions."
Find the extension and deactivate it
by toggling off the blue slider.
Removing an Extension:
Enter chrome://extensions/ in the
address bar.
Find the extension you want to
remove and click "Remove."
You can manage your extensions by
clicking the Extensions button in the top-right corner. Remember that disabled
extensions won't appear in the list. To re-enable, toggle the blue slider.
